Hieroglyphics in 2026: What the Crew Is Doing Right Now

If you’ve been away from the Hieroglyphics catalog for a while — or if you’re new and wondering whether a 30-year-old crew is still active — here’s the complete picture of where things stand in 2026 and why this is one of the best years to be a Hiero fan.

Still Active, Still Independent

Hieroglyphics Imperium is still 100% artist-owned and operating. The crew — Del tha Funkee Homosapien, Souls of Mischief (Tajai, A-Plus, Opio, Phesto), Casual, Pep Love, Domino, and DJ Toure — continues to record, perform, and run the label they built from scratch in 1993. Over 245,000 monthly Spotify listeners. Active socials. Active touring schedule. No signs of slowing down.

Red Rocks — August 2026

The marquee 2026 event: Hieroglyphics performs at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado alongside Cypress Hill, Method Man, and De La Soul. Red Rocks is one of the world’s most storied outdoor venues — 9,500 capacity, natural stone amphitheater, legendary acoustics. This is the crew’s highest-profile show in years and one of the essential hip-hop concerts of 2026.
