Hiero Day — Oakland, CA

Hiero Day is the annual festival Hieroglyphics Imperium throws in their home city of Oakland. It’s been running since 2012 and has grown into one of the Bay Area’s signature summer events — typically drawing around 8,500 fans.

If Red Rocks is the touring showcase, Hiero Day is the homecoming. The crowd is Oakland-rooted, the energy is celebratory, and the atmosphere is deeply communal.
