Biography
Born Toure Duncan in Oakland, DJ Toure is the official DJ of Hieroglyphics Imperium — the turntable backbone of every Hiero live show. A fixture at Hiero Day and on the road, Toure brings the DJ tradition to the center of the Hiero live experience, keeping the energy moving and the Oakland spirit alive.
As a producer and DJ, Toure represents the continuity of hip-hop’s foundational art form — the DJ as conductor, historian, and crowd commander. Whether at Red Rocks 2026 or Hiero Day, he’s holding it down on the ones and twos.
