Tajai Massey, known by the stage name, Tajai. He is one of the four founding members of Souls of Mischief. In elementary school Tajai met fellow Souls of Mischief member A-Plus, and the duo began their nascent rap careers. Tajai eventually introduced A-Plus to future Souls of Mischief members Phesto and Opio, and the group formed in high school before releasing their debut album '93 Till Infinity on Jive Records in 1993.

In order to commemorate the 20th year release of 93 ‘Til Infinity, Get On Down has made 500 legendary Souls Super Bundles that are packed with tons of exclusive content. Several bundle options are available and will be shipped on March 7th, but pre-orders are available now.

Every Souls Super Bundle is packed with great content. It contains the Hiero Light Box, consisting of a commemorative box with a 4.5 inch blue LED-lit Hieroglyphics logo that is activated by a hidden button on the case. The iconic “third-eye” logo glows in radiant neon blue when the button is pushed. Tajai tells the story of hearing Eminem's demo when he opened for Souls of Mischief in Detroit in 1996. "Tajai is an emcee and producer from Oakland, CA. He is a founding member the underground hip hop group group Souls of Mischief, and the larger collective known as Hieroglyphics. In elementary school, Tajai met A-Plus, and years later joined with Phesto and Opio to release the Souls Of Mischief 1993 debut album, 93 Til Infinity, on Jive Records. It was later named by The Source Magazine as one of the Top 100 Rap Albums. In 1995, they released the sophomore album, No Man’s Land, and were dropped from Jive that same year. The group joined Del The Funky Homosapien, Casual, Domino, Pep Love, and DJ Toure to form the Hieroglyphics crew. In 1997, Tajai graduated with a degree in Anthropology from Stanford University. In 1999, the group SupremeEx was formed with Tajai and StinkE to release the album Nuntype and an enhanced CD called Projecto: 2501. The group first two studio albums were 3rd Eye Vision (1998) and Full Circle (2003), released to critical acclaim. The collective has also released five compilation albums, including their upcoming July 2013 release, The Kitchen. Souls Of Mischief are currently on their 93 Til Infinity Tour; a 20 year anniversary tour, performing their classic debut album in it’s entirety for over 50 dates in the United States.
